OJP Developer Resources To improve access to data and to encourage innovation, the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) has begun to provide Application Programming Interface (API) access to some of OJP’s most sought after data sets. We invite developers to use these APIs, and to provide us with feedback on this service as well your suggestions for additional data sets that may be of interest or benefit to developers. The APIs are free of charge, do not require registration, and allow unlimited access. Please read the terms of service for using the APIs.

To get started, select an API from the list below. The APIs support REST formatted requests and provide developers with end-points in XML, JSON, and CSV formats along with related codebooks, methodology, and metadata. As other criminal justice datasets are made available in API format, they will be added to the list below. Contact us via askojp@ncjrs.gov with any comments you have, or to let us know how you are using this new resource.
